  • Inspect hair, edges, shadows, transparent objects, and small details; refine the result if controls are available.
  • Export as PNG or another transparency-capable format and verify the cutout over light and dark backgrounds.

Security & Privacy Guarantee

  • Hair, fur, glass, smoke, shadows, and foreground colors similar to the background can produce rough edges.
  • The first use may download a large model, and high-resolution images can use substantial memory and battery.
  • JPEG cannot preserve transparency; choosing it will flatten the background to a solid color.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is my image sent to an AI server?
A: No. Segmentation runs in your browser. The model may be downloaded and cached on first use, but the selected image is not sent to an inference server.
Q: Why are some edges imperfect?
A: Automatic segmentation predicts foreground pixels and can struggle with fine or translucent details. Review the full-size export and refine difficult edges in an image editor.
